A Chuck Swindoll Quote

From a devotional by pastor and author Chuck Swindoll: "In this life, we have focus choices. We can focus on ourselves, we can focus on our circumstances, we can focus on other people, or we can focus on God. When you think biblically, you focus first on God.
Regardless of what you want, regardless of the circumstances you're under, regardless of what others say or think, regardless of how you feel, God and God alone is working out His great plan."

God put this quote in my path today. He knew I needed it. God is so good. I am glad He loves me so much and works all things for my good. I sometimes have to go through rough, trying circumstances, but He is in control and knows exactly what I need to go through. Today's trial wasn't that rough. It wasn't fun, but now that it is over I see God worked out His plan and it is so much better than mine was going to be. When I started to focus on Him instead of my circumstances and the people in them, I felt only joy, thankfulness and praise for my Wonderful God.  My favorite Bible verses for today are Romans 8:28-31.

28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
